Our mission is to enhance the efficiency of the policymaking process, and to create more productive dialogue among the various players involved in crafting and shaping laws and regulation so everyone can more effectively represent their constituents. We have engaged in over seven years of research to investigate effective communication and advocacy in Washington and in a growing number of states in order to create a better understanding of what works—and what doesn’t—in public policy advocacy.

We engage with a broad and diverse audience of individuals involved in the policymaking process, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, elected officials and senior staffers in the Legislative Branch, career staff and appointees within the Executive Branch, and think tank and advocacy professionals in the private sector.
